Hydraulic Box Dumpers for Efficient Material Handling

Our Hydraulic Box Dumpers are expertly designed for the controlled dumping of materials from boxes, crates, and various containers. With a lowered height of only 3/8”, these dumpers allow for easy loading and unloading using a pallet truck. The adjustable retaining bar, which can be set every 2”, accommodates a wide range of container heights, ensuring versatility in your material handling equipment.

Each dump height is equipped with a hold-down range—consult the included chart for specifics. The maximum rotation of 135° provides a 45-degree dump angle, and the unit can be halted at any point during the dump cycle. The chute reach extends to 10” when fully rotated.

Standard features include an internal 2HP power unit and a handheld control (upgraded to a 5.5 HP power unit on models with a 6,000-pound capacity). Protective mesh side screens offer added safety. Constructed with heavy-duty welded steel, these dumpers are built to last.

The standard duty cycle allows for a maximum of 15 starts per hour under normal conditions. Note that the duty cycle is based on the number of times the “up” button is pressed; frequent jogging (bouncing of the chute) is not recommended.

Our hydraulic box dumpers use an industrial-quality, 56-frame, 2 HP motor, providing optimal torque with minimal amperage draw and extended lifespan. They operate on a voltage of 460 Volts, 60 cycles, and 3 phases. Various options are available to tailor the equipment to your specific needs.

Key components include a cast iron pump with integrated valves—pressure relief, check valve, down solenoid, and pressure-compensated flow control. The 24-volt fused control circuit ensures operator safety. Additionally, the hydraulic actuators feature internal brass velocity fuses with stainless steel springs for emergency lockup. Our welding meets A.W.S standards, promising durability and reliability.
